From San Martino di Castrozza, near the departure station of Colverde chairlift, take trail no. 701 leading to Rosetta Pass. If you are on foot, this stretch already involves a difference in height of 1,100 meters; anyway, it is possible to take the chairlift and then the cableway. From the pass, along a slight downhill trail, you will reach Rosetta Mountain Hut. From here take trail no. 709 leading, with an uphill trail of 100m, to Pradidali Pass and then down to Pradidali Mountain Hut and the head of Val Canali. There are several alternative routes, with different hiking and mountaineering difficulty levels. The Dolomitic plateau you can admire from Rosetta Mountain Hut is almost a moon-like setting: the dolomite rock plain is interrupted by Fradusta Glacier.
