The Project - 'Sensibilizza e diffondi'
"Sensibilizza e diffondi" is an environmental education project that considers school as the main instrument to implement sustainable development activities in the Park, involving the schools within the territory of the protected area. The Multipurpose Service Center, situated in Contrada San Lorenzo in Atripalda, houses the premises put at disposal by the Park Authority to carry out indoor activities, while the outdoor activities are carried out near the Park Visitor Center in Summonte (AV).
The pupils (primary schools and first grade of secondary schools) are provided with educational material having descriptive and evaluation aims. In particular, specific educational notebooks have been dedicated to environmental education issues, waste management, and the safeguard of biodiversity. Such notebooks are used as support material and include texts and research material that teachers can use in the classroom.
