Since 1995, the Park has been particularly involved in research activities dedicated to its environmental heritage: among them, some research activities have been dedicated to amphibians, especially thanks to degree theses that have then developed into the studies for the Wildlife Safeguard and Management Plan. The research activities have provided new and interesting knowledge to understand the naturalistic value of the Park and have aroused a particular interest for the Amphibians.
