The biscuits of Lomellina conjure up the territory where they are produced. As a matter of fact, their name is a pun combining the Municipality of Sartirana with one of the "inhabitants" that is the symbol of the rice fields, the frog. Moreover, these short pastry biscuits are frog-shaped.
