The River Park covers the area going from Crescentino (VC) to the confluence with the stream Scrivia, with a series of different environments harmoniously linked by the watercourse. In its first stretch, the landscape is characterized by two dominating elements, that is hills and rice-fields, which offer sceneries of rare beauty. In the area of Casale Monferrato you will discover the wildest and most natural stretch of the river Po. The confluences of the rivers Sesia, Tanaro, and Scrivia shape the landscape. The Po forms here islets and oxbow lakes where rare faunistic species - in particular herons - find their ideal habitat.
