Cavo Morta

The itinerary can be gone through on foot or by bike: it runs along Cavo Morta and is a usual destination also for people from Cremona. From the elevation plant of Consorzio Bonifica Dugali, in via Landi loc. Bosco ex Parmigiano, take the asphalt embankment of the river Po on the right bank of Cavo Morta, or the dirt embankment on the left bank. The watercourse, situated between the two banks, is delimited by uncultivated lands - larger on the left bank - lands subject to overflows, hygrophilous woods, old isolated trees which on the whole form a very precious and typical natural habitat. Once you reach the Bugatti farmstead, a small dirt road crosses the watercourse and links the two banks through a small stone bridge.
The asphalt main bank continues up to the territory of Stagno Lombardo, running along the natural riparian environments of Cavo Morta, and links the Po cremonese and casalasco territory.
