'Laboratorio Territoriale' of Portofino Park

Laboratorio Territoriale del Parco di Portofino (LABTER), belonging to the national network promoted by the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Education, works in association with CREA (Environmental Education Regional Center), in the planning and documentation of environmental education experiences.
The Lab is at the disposal of the local schools situated in the territory (represented by the Park Municipalities: Camogli, Portofino, and Santa Margherita Ligure, by the adjacent area: Chiavari, Rapallo, and Zoagli, and by the surroundings: Avegno, Coreglia, Lumarzo, Recco, Tribogna, and Uscio). It works as a resource center where you can find services, information, data, and support for environmental education and sustainable development activities addressed to adults and children.
The Lab "helps and urges" residents and tourists to use the territory with educational purposes (environmental education and education to sustainable development).
Portofino Park, also working as a regional service center of protected areas, documents and promotes also environmental education activities of other Parks.
- Contact: Dott. Alberto Girani - Director of Portofino Park Authority.
Since August 2009, the Park staff and services are managed by Associazione Temporanea di Imprese (A.T.I.) formed by: Costa Edutainment/Acquario di Genova and the tour guides of Cooperativa DAFNE.
