The Visitor Center in Prato di Resia, housing the offices of Prealpi Giulie Regional Park, is situated in a panoramic position: it faces the enchanting setting of Val Resia, in front of the northern slope of Musi chain.
The Visitor Center represents a meeting point for those who would like to discover the complex and wonderful Park area, offering the visitor the opportunity to discover the area through the various exhibits reproducing the different natural environments (the river, the undergrowth, the grassland, and the mountains) enriched with geological finds and to carry out a virtual visit using the relief model reproducing the territory of the protected area or the available technological equipment, following the didactic trail leading to the stream and crossing meadows and forests where it is not difficult to sight deer and woodpeckers.
In this structure there is also the opportunity to stay in a cosy guest house with 20 beds, in rooms dedicated to the animals of the local fairy tales (fox, badger, and squirrel).
