The itinerary develops along two ring-routes and gives the opportunity to observe some of the most beautiful panoramas of Prealpi Giulie Park.
The departure point is the country hamlet of Povici (320m), accessible along the SP road of Val Resia after crossing the bridge over the homonymous torrent.
After crossing the footbridge over rio Serai, the trail climbs with a series of easy and small hairpin bends in a wood mainly formed by black pines, hop hornbeams, and flowering ashes, until it reaches a large grassy hill: Borgo Cros, a small village abandoned after 1976 earthquake. Its houses, entirely renovated, have partly maintained the original features.
