The botanic trail of Mt. Plauris gives the opportunity to observe species and habitats of great naturalistic value surrounded by charming settings. The route, along its 15 km, reaches the summit of Plauris at 1,958m of altitude, opening the view over most of the region, from the plain to the most inland Alps.
Thanks to its historical, geological, and climatic features, this mountain is one of the places with greatest floristic variety of Friuli Venezia Giulia; an authentic natural botanic garden.
