Catalogue of the Photographic Exhibit
We are particularly grateful to Gruppo del Cerchio and the photographer Pier Ilario Benedetto if this catalogue has been published to complete an itinerant photographic exhibit which, between 2007 and 2008, will be on display in Sacri Monti of Piedmont and Lombardy.The visitors of our Sacri Monti are particularly interested in the theme of Jesus "Nativity". It is a subject that in the Christmas Crib (although in Crea we have the representation of the Virgin Mary Nativity, in Orta the representation of St. Francis and St. John the Baptist Nativity) finds moments of great tenderness for the feelings expressed and the great popularity it enjoys. Without a doubt an unusual way to discover the concentration of devotion and art represented in Sacri Monti.
