Guiglia Castle

Destroyed by a fire in 1361 and rebuilt in about forty years, the Castle was damaged by the earthquake of 1571.
It was then transformed into a feudal palace by the Montecuccoli family, until their heirs sold it to a Swissman who transformed the Castle into a hotel. In front of the original entrance there is the Torre del Pubblico. Probably dating from 1535, it has a square plan, a conch-shaped portal and is surmonted by a XVII-century bell cell.
