The Sentiero Italia, with a medium length and low altitude, continues eastwards parallel to the Swiss border to reach the town of Como on the shores of the lake.

Countryside, woods and hills characterise the path, which starts in Bizzarone and continues first along a carriage road and then on a path towards Ronago. This is followed by a stretch on a carriage road and a climb towards Poggio Bruciato, with a long stretch running parallel to the border as far as the Seveso stream. A final climb leads to Belvedere Sasso di Cavallasca followed by a descent to Olimpino Mount near Como. Here Sentiero Italia splits into two branches, as the stage continues along the lake to Como.
