Didactic Proposals - School Year 2012/2013
In a protected area, environmental education activities play a leading role, almost an insurance on the future of the environment surrounding us.
Environmental education activities dedicated to schools give the opportunity to make students learn more about the Park and deal with issues that will be increasingly important for future generations.
Learning to respect the environment surrounding us is the first step to change the lifestyles of a society which has been exploiting nature resources in an indiscriminate manner, without thinking about future consequences.
The respect of nature also leads to the awareness that life on Earth is deeply influenced by our actions. We believe that only a new way to look at development will be the key to sustainability and compatibility of the human actions.
For these reasons, Stirone Park is continuously investing many resources and energies in the field of environmental education, offering to schools interesting proposals. We have tried to combine knowledge with fun, so that everyone coming to our protected area may preserve a happy memory of the visit and learn important notions through games and curiosity.
The protagonists of the proposals we offer are the natural elements and all the aspects of the world surrounding us, from water to animals, plants, fossils, geology, energy, history, and much more. They will be small extraordinary moments to discover a territory and the many sides of nature, surrounded by an environment rich in emotions and unique sensations.
