Parco Regionale dello Stirone e del Piacenziano

Even if it is not difficult, the Stirone cycleway climbs the valley bottom of the stream of the same name, on a pleasant route having some quiet arduous stretches. The landscape is characterized by the fields alternating with high trees rows, the woods on the hills and the Stirone river environment. The colored flight of the European bee-eaters and the observation of the fossils make this excursion even more interesting. Very interesting are also the urban  historical-monumental features (Fidenza, Vigoleno, Salsomaggiore) and the ancient rural building (the San Nicomede and San Genesio romanic churches).
