Varzese Meat

It is the one and only autochthonous breed of Lombardy. Varzese breed has a wheat-colored coat, characteristic of this breed (it is an ancient color, widespread in wild animals). It lives long (cows and oxen of 15/20 years were not rare), is characterized by a small size and is mainly used to work, with modest quality milk and meat productions.
