Lime-tree Honey
Lime-tree honey, with its light or dark color according to the honeydew content (honeydew is a sugar-rich substance collected by bees from the tree leaves), is very scented and has a delicate taste.
It can be used as sweetener on ice-cream or yoghurt, but is particularly suitable for expectorant herb teas. It is a sedative for menstrual cramps, a palliative for insomnia and irritability, and have diuretic and digestive properties.
