Parco Agricolo Sud Milano also represents a cultural resource. You can find here buildings of architectural and historical interest scattered throughout the territory, sometimes in not very known places.
Houses and palaces, evidences of the way of working and living of the rural civilization, appear in the silence of the countryside and are surrounded by a network of rural roads, towpaths of navigli, cycling routes (some of them are still under construction), irrigation ditches, canals, locks, and troughs. Some structures are known by the citizens living in Milan, for instance the abbeys of Chiaravalle, Viboldone, and Mirasole, usual destinations on Sundays.
