Nature Trail for the Visually Impaired

  • Trail Conditions: On foot, Accessible Trail

The trail develops within La Fagiana Nature Reserve in Pontevecchio di Magenta (MI). It is equipped with guiding kerbs and descriptive panels in braille and with other symbols useful for the visually impaired: it therefore represents a self-guided trail of about 1,500m developing within the Nature Reserve. The trail, created with the collaboration of Unione Italiana Cechi, is also equipped with "visual" panels describing the woodland, the animals populating it, and the main vegetable species growing in it, giving the opportunity, both to the visually impaired and to other people, to recognize the trees and their parts (leaves, bark, and flowers).
