Grana Padano Dop

"Grana Padano Dop"
The word “grana” indicates a typology of cheese - the hard cheese presenting a granulous dough - but, in particular, the word defines one of the two giants of the Italian dairy production, the "Grana Padano Dop".

"Gorgonzola Dop"
The production area of the "Gorgonzola Dop" is rather extended and it includes three whole provinces of Piemonte (Novara, Vercelli, Cuneo besides the Town of Casale Monferrato in the province of Alessandria) and the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Milano, and Pavia in the Lombardia region.

"Taleggio Dop"
The typical production area of the "Taleggio" includes the whole Lombardia region and the province of Novara in Piemonte, even if the historical areas of this cheese are the Valsassina and the Valtaleggio (here it was given the current name at the beginning of the 20th century).
