Departure from the Visitor Center: cross the modern canal where you can observe a medieval outlet. Here you will also find a 15th century building where there was the lock of the canal. A ladder leads inside the canal. Then you will get to a barn where you will have the opportunity to observe bird ringing activities; go ahead until you reach the lake shores, where there is a footbridge running along the big canebrake. There are bird watching points.
