Sangiovese di Romagna

Sangiovese di Romagna
DOC - Controlled Designation of Origin

The Sangiovese wine is produced with the vine variety of the same name which is cultivated in the Park's hills. They produce a red wine which smells like pansies and berries, characterized by velvety tannins and a full taste. This wine is produced in several versions: basic, superior, reserve and young.
Sangiovese is the most widespread vine variety in Italy, and it represents the main ingredient of many other excellent wines, such as the Brunello di Montalcino, the Chianti, the Montepulciano or the Morellino di Scansano: north of the Apennines it is the CDO Sangiovese di Romagna. The Sangiovese di Romagna is ideal with many Romagna's typical products, such as the grilled Romagnola beef, or the Mora Romagnola pork.
