(Grumes, 01 Dec 14) On Monday 1st December, in Grumes, the new program agreement for the Alta Val di Cembra-Avisio Reserves Network has been signed. The municipalities of Capriana, Faver, Grauno, Grumes and Valda, the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, the Valle di Cembra community, the ASUC Rover-Carbonare and the autonomous Province of Trento belong to the network.
With the signing of the new agreement also the Adige's mountain catchment basin (Italian acronym is BIM) has become part of the Network, and the duration of the previous agreement has been extended for 24 more months, in order to make the completion of the activities and of the planned works possible and to extend the network to other realities. The new agreement's aim is also to strengthen the functional and operative collaboration with the other surrounding protected areas (Fiemme Network, Paneveggio Pale di S. Martino Nature Park) and to look for new relationships with the near municipalities sharing the same identity and territory.
