The Rio dei Molini between Grumes and Grauno has at least 20 water-functioning machines among mills, sawmills and forges, with three renovated factories. The trail of the Ancient Professions connects these buildings each other, giving the visitors unforgettable fascinations of a unique historic and environmental landscape.
Leaving from the Hostel of Grumes, and following the uphill street in front of the hostel, one reaches the state street 612 and passes in front of the Municipal Warehouse. One goes on following the street towards "la Val" up to the crossroad leading to Grauno. Follow the path towards Grauno until you reach the Cristofori Mill. From here the first stretch of the Trail of the Ancient Professions starts climbing down along the Rio Molino, and it leads visitors up to the bridge above the Avisio, crossing Maso La Rio.
