The Mountain Hut
The Mountain Hut Genova-Figari (2,015m) is surrounded by pastures and is situated between two lakes: Brocan Lake, of glacial origins, and Chiotàs Lake supplying one of the largest pumped-storage hydroelectric power stations in Europe.
The Mountain Hut, easily accessible, is at the foot of Argentera, that with its 3,297m is the highest summit of Alpi Marittime. The area offers the opportunity to admire several animal species: wild ibex, chamois, marmots, stoats, eagles, and rare botanical species like
Saxifraga florulenta...
The Mountain Hut is open non-stop from 15th June to 15th September. By previous booking in the other periods.

In the Mountain Hut we offer a cuisine privileging the dishes of the tradition of Piedmont. We recommend polenta made with local flour and dressed with meat, cheese, and various sauces. We also offer a wide range of vegetarian dishes, and our desserts are all home-made.
