In front of the Mountain Hut, at 1,250 meters of altitude, set in a beech tree and conifer forest, the wonderful Piana di Lagdei opens.
Large meadows ideal for a relaxing stop, peatbogs rich in naturalistic features, small streams where kids can play. The Mountain Hut houses the new and equipped Park Info Point, and the main trails leading to the most beautiful places of the Apennines leave from here.
The Mountain Hut is also the departure and arrival point of easy itineraries of great naturalistic value.
It is also an ideal lap for trekking activities on foot, on horseback, or by mountain bike. The Mountain Hut suggests an annual calendar of guided tours, naturalistic visits, environmental education activities for schools, and animation for children.>>>

The Mountain Hut

The Mountain Hut offers 9 rooms with one, two, three, four, six, and eight beds.
The rooms, really cosy, are characterized by a country mountain style, with wooden bunk beds, wardrobe, and nightstand. They have heating system and en-suite bathroom or bathroom on the same floor, beds have mattress cover and blankets.

ECO Label: Prize for the Environmental Quality

In January 2009, both the Hotel and the Restaurant obtained the ECO Certification, that is the Environmental Quality Label awarded to the tourist structures situated in the Protected Areas of the Province of Parma distinguishing themselves for the respect of strict eco-sustainability rules. The mountain hut has obtained the certification for its commitment to energy saving, reduction of the waste produced, and the enhancement of traditional local products.
We also ask our guests to be "eco-tourists" and share our commitment to environment and sustainability, implementing a few and easy rules and following our advice.
We ask our guests to fill in and give us back the ECO Questionnaire which, with a few easy questions, will give us the opportunity to improve our service and assess the efficacy of the environmental policies we have decided to implement.
