The RestaurantWe only serve dishes based on the best local products coming from Maiella National Park...
Restaurant - Pizzeria La Scarpetta di Venere opened a few years ago, and was immediately a great success. Apparently, the talent of the very young owner - Massimiliano Colelli - helped by the brilliant Mrs Rossella, has been guided both by the family experience (his family owns a thriving hotel) and by the studies carried out in the famous and prestigious Istituto Alberghiero
of Roccaraso (AQ). The atmosphere is really cosy and the central position of the restaurant completes the setting. At the moment, the restaurant is experiencing a funding stage and represents a reference point for the several tourists visiting Campo di Giove in summer and winter: it is an ideal place where you can spend one night of fine cuisine and great atmosphere.
- Opening times: 11.00 a.m./3.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m./1.00 a.m.

The Cuisine and the Specialties
The strength of Restaurant - Pizzeria La Scarpetta di Venere is without a doubt the use of the best and most genuine local products in the preparation of its dishes. From Campogiovese ricotta cheese coming from the pastures of Majella (therefore from the homonymous National Park
) to the local truffle, without forgetting the quality wines, all coming from prestigious and prize-winning cellars from Abruzzi like Marramiero, Zaccagnini, and Masciarelli. Among the dishes we suggest: ravioli with walnuts and mushrooms, cheese and egg pallottelle, grilled fillet of beef, barbecued Majella lamb. We are available to organize personalized menus for banquets, ceremonies, and birthday parties.
