The Center, born in 1989, works thanks to volunteers and to agreements signed with public authorities and university faculties. It deals with the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, wounded, or confiscated animals, both exotic and autochthonous, and gives them shelter.
Opening times: The Center can be visited (by previous booking) on Saturdays and Sundays in the afternoon, from May to September. The visit lasts about three hours. School groups can also agree on a visit in the other days of the week.
