The Visitor Center and Museum of the Nature Reserve

It is a new structure obtained from the renovation of an old farmhouse. Thanks to advanced instruments, it gives the opportunity to thoroughly discover the life of the Nature Reserve.
The route of the Museum of the Visitor Center is an experience involving all our senses! The dioramas, the tactile pools, the reconstructions of the environments, and the audiovisual material lead visitors to discover the mouth of river Isonzo, its habitats (birds, vegetation, food chains, ecosystems), and the environmental recovery measures. In the Visitor Center it is possible to get in touch with the organisms living in the Nature Reserve, spying them through the glass of the tactile pools. You can observe the details of the living beings thanks to microscopes and listen to the animal calls through their sound reproduction.
open all year round
- from Monday to Sunday (closed on Thursday), 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
- For school groups and organized groups, by previous booking, it is also possible to visit the Center on Thursday
Entrance fee:
- Entrance to the Nature Reserve and Visitor Center: Euros 5
- Reduced ticket: Euros 3.50 (children between 6 and 14 years of age and over 65, school groups and families)
- Individual annual pass: Euros 20
- Family annual pass: Euros 35
Free entrance for children under 6 years of age.
The entrance ticket includes:
- entrance to the Visitor Center (Ecopark Museum and the Museum of the Visitor Center)
- The Duck Museum
- café
- horse enclosures
- trails of the Nature Reserve (both the recovered ones)
