The project "AESON – Arti nella Natura" aims at creating installations and events linked to environmental art and to land art in the context of Foce dell'Isonzo Regional Nature Reserve and its surrounding territory. The works and the events created by AESON can combine dialogs and moments of reflection on environmental, artistic, and social issues. The 2009 edition of AESON consisted in 10 installations and performances of environmental art, 1 exhibit of "landscape photography" at the Town Contemporary Art Gallery of Monfalcone, 2 concerts, and 2 performances in the charming setting of Isola della Cona, several meetings with artists and creative tasting moments. The project involves a territorial network formed by 28 subjects among cultural associations, public authorities, social cooperatives, and local enterprises. "AESON - Arti nella Natura" is a festival based on artistic research and experimentation, a way to live nature in a creative and dynamic approach, a project promoting environmental sustainability, tourism and local economy development.
