Seawatching

  • Trail Conditions: Diving, Snorkeling
  • Interest: Marine Wildlife

Snorkeling - fin swimming on water surface also called sea watching - is a different way to observe the underwater environment, and it is suitable for everyone because the only necessary requirement is to be able to swim and to use the simple equipment consisting of a diving mask, a snorkel and fins. The itineraries proposed within the Marine Protected Area depart from the Bagno Ducale and wind along a not very deep underwater path (1.5 km) among the rocks and a few meters from the shore. The visits are allowed from June to September only by previous booking and for small groups (6 to 10 participants), and always guided by the staff of the protected area.
