The protected area is easily accessible from the most important ways of communication. The presence in Brindisi of a port and an airport represents an opportunity for the Nature Reserve.
The visiting facilities of the Nature Reserve consist of welcome services (Service Area and car parks, intermodal exchange stations, sustainable mobility), catering services founded on the slow food culture (Lido Punta Penna Grossa), and services for the knowledge of the area (Al Gawsit Visitor Center, guided visits, trekking, diving, sailing).

To reach the Visitor Center from SS road no. 379 Bari-Brindisi-Lecce, take the exit Serranova and go ahead to Serranova.
- To reach the Nature Reserve from the SS road 379 Bari-Brindisi-Lecce, take the exit Torre Guaceto-Punta Penna Grossa and follow the seaside road until you reach the Service Area of Punta Penna Grossa.
- Or, always from SS 379, take the exit Apani until you reach the Service Area of Apani.
