The trail begins near the crossroads at the picnic area, by turning left if you come from Tivoli, right if you come from Fonte Bologna (see trail B) or going straight on if you come from the picnic area (see trail E). At the beginning of the climb there is another junction where you will find two trail markers: on the right you will climb towards Colle Lecinone, on the left towards Mt. Sterparo.
