Ideal Habitat of the Migratory Avifauna

The marsh is an ideal habitat for a number of resident aquatic birds and for species nesting in the area, as well as a resting place for the migratory species going along the area between the rivers Ticino and Sesia. Among them the Teal, the Moorhen, the Little Grebe, the Gray Heron, the White Egret, the Bittern, the Little Bittern, the Little Egret, the White Stork, the Spoonbill, and the Black Winged Stilt. (The visits can be carried out only with a guide authorized by the Park).
