Eighty kilometers, technically elementary, mainly developing along mule tracks, carriage roads, dirt roads, and trails. They give the opportunity to go from the plain to the ridge of the Apennines, Tyrrheanian-Adriatic watershed. For the future, there is a project to extend the itinerary in Garfagnana up to Lucca and from Canossa to the town center of Parma: the "Matilda's Trail" will be among the main hiking itineraries of jubilean interest. The itinerary from Vico di Ciano d'Enza to San Pellegrino in Alpe, even if it can be gone through by trained walkers in three-four days, is presented in seven easy laps.
