Riserva Speciale del Sacro Monte della SS. Trinità di Ghiffa

It is recommended to come to the Reserve by your own car, since there is no public transport serving it. As an alternative, you can get to the town of Ghiffa by the city bus lines (www.vcotrasporti.it) and reach Sacro Monte on foot (about 40 minutes).

• Highway dei Laghi (A8) - highway dei trafori (A26), exit: Gravellona Toce, in the direction of Verbania, you will reach the Municipality of Ghiffa along the coastal road.

From Turin

• Highway Torino-Trieste (A4) - highway dei trafori (A26), exit: Gravellona Toce, in the direction of Verbania, you will reach the Municipality of Ghiffa along the coastal road.

From Genoa

• Highway dei trafori (A26), exit: Gravellona Toce, in the direction of Verbania, you will reach the Municipality of Ghiffa along the coastal road.

By Train

From Milan

• From Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi in the direction of Domodossola. Stop: Verbania Pallanza.

From Turin

• From Torino Porta Nuova to Santhia. From Santhia to Arona. From Arona to Verbania Pallanza.

From Genoa

• From Genova Piazza Principe to Milano Centrale. From Milano Centrale in the direction of Domodossola. Stop: Verbania Pallanza.
  From the station of Verbania Pallanza it is possible to take the bus up to Intra. In Intra change the bus in the direction of Cannobio or Brissago. Stop: Ghiffa. It takes 30 minutes to go on foot from the bus stop to the Sacro Monte.
