From the Sanctuary of SS.Trinità follow the comfortable forest track up to loc. Caronio.
Go ahead for a brief asphalt stretch (Via Cesare Battisti) and immediately beyond the Cappelletta della Madonna di Re (at 501m) take the forest road on the right leading to Pollino (751m) along the homonymous deep valley.
The route is marked with white/red trail marks and by number 1. It is also suitable for mountain bikes.
