What to See

Limestone pavement (karstic phenomenon) can be observed from a special view-point, Sasso Malascarpa;
stratified rocks and caves;
in loc. "Acqua del Fò", the monumental beech tree is a century-old tree of extraordinary size;
along the trail descending towards San Tommaso, the "casote", old rural buildings used by shepherds, some of them still in good conditions;
in the dry grasslands of the ridge and in the rocky ravines you can find numberless endemic botanic species, rare and protected;
from the ridge, you will enjoy a panoramic view over the lakes of Brianza, over the mountains of Triangolo Lariano, and over the slope of Lecco.
