From the Bivouac

  • Trail Conditions: On foot
  • Departure: Dal bivacco

2nd stage: from the bivouac one covers a stretch of the mule track leading to the Fonderîs mountain pass (CAI trail marker n. 425), but once one reaches the basis of the grassy cone coming down from the upper ridges, one leaves the mule track and climbs the trail towards the ridge linking the Cjavâlz to the Çuc del Bôr. Once reached the ridge one covers it southwards up to the southern basis (2,140 m) of the squat cupola of the Çuc del Bôr (2,195 m).
Warning! Climbing the cupola of the Çuc dal Bôr is particularly difficult due to the presence of exposed areas of 3rd higher degree. The climbing can be carried out safely only with the proper equipment (helmet, rope, harnesses, carabiners) and by expert people able to use the safety tools.
Circumventing the basis of the  large tower of the Çuc del Bôr, on the southern side towards the basin of the river Simon, one climbs down a steep canal up to the foot.
Once cut across the mule track (CAI path marker n. 425) one follows the path uphill westwards to reach the pass Fonderîs (1,800 m). Along the ridge developing southwards, towards the Mount Cròstis (1,894 m), one walks the northeastern ridge up to the Mount Pisimoni (1,880 m). The descent from the Pisimoni summit follows the southern ridge along the path (CAI path marker n. 423 and red-yellow marks, by the "Alta Via CAI Moggio") winding steep up to the village of Ovedasso (422 m).
