Mixed Flower Honey

Mixed flower honey is honey produced with several flower varieties. Each mixed flower honey has its own features characterizing it year after year with more or less important variations.
The mixed flower honey coming from Decima Malafede Nature Reserve (RomaNatura) is obtained from the flora characterizing the area of Perna and Selcetta Valleys, also including allochthonous species like the black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) and the tree of heaven (Ailanthus altissima).
The name of the mixed flower honey derives from the fact that it is produced in spring and is obtained by mixing many nectars and flowers. It has a pale yellow color and a very sweet taste. It is used as a natural sweetener. It well matches with green cheese.
It contains many vitamins and has stimulating and antiseptic properties for the urinary tract.
