Fattorie del Panda in the Italian Parks
The Certified Structures
The project Fattorie del Panda is an initiative promoted in Italy by WWF, ANAGRITUR (formed by Terranostra, Agriturist, and Turismo Verde, the three main national holiday farm associations), and by the Italian Federation of Parks and Nature Reserves (Federparchi).
The aim is to transform the holiday farms situated in a national or regional park or in their surroundings into centers of knowledge and promotion of the local conditions and, in particular, of the environment, the history, the culture, and the traditions of the territory.
All the holiday farms joining the project have accepted a series of ecological specifications aiming at energy and water saving, rational use of the resources, and improvement of the local offer.
