How to get there


By car
Approaching map
 The SCI Alento can be easily reached both by car and by train.
The area is situated in Campania, in the Province of Salerno.
  • From the Highway A3, Salerno Reggio Calabria, take the exit Battipaglia. Here take the SS road no. 18, in direction Paestum and Agropoli. Go beyond Sele plain and the town centers of Paestum, Agropoli, and go ahead along SS 18: after more or less 40 km, you will see the exit to Diga dell'Alento, situated in the heart of the SCI.

By train

Railway Stations:

  • The area is crossed by the railway line Salerno - Reggio Calabria, and served by several trains. The nearest railway stations are Agropoli, Ascea, Vallo della Lucania - Castelnuovo.

Public transport
 

Bus:

  • The area is also interested by private bus lines service connecting all the town centers of the territory and the provincial administrative center.
