At Vigion's you will find all the typical ingredients of a place where time has stopped.
In Ghiare, where only few houses are built along the street, you will find our restaurant. Carlo Rabaglia followed in his father's footsteps, who opened the restaurant in 1947 and still manages the dining hall with his granddaughter, while Carlo's wife with her mother-in-law carefully prepare the typical dishes of this territory.Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Carlo kept his family's traditions. The cold cuts he serves as appetizers are the dry-cured spalla cut by hand, the ham, the salami, the pancetta and the gola. Among the first courses you can find the Tortelli stuffed with herbs, pumpkin, potatoes and porcini mushrooms, the tagliolini with mushrooms and the cappelletti in soup. Among the wide range of second courses there are the boiled meats seasoned with sauces, roasted helmeted guineafowl, baked veal and a tender braised foal meat. On demand you can taste game meat such as wild boar and hare.
There are also good desserts, all are homemade, such as the apple pie with hot chocolate, the sour cherry pie, the "sbrisolona" and the sweet love dessert.
We also offer a wide range of wines.
Vigion also provides 6 en-suite rooms and an area to place your bicycles or your horses near the house.
