Research activities financed by the NGO CISV have highlighted the problems regarding the promotion of responsible tourist itineraries in the parks, with particular attention to the natural ecosystems and the traditional activities of the local people: the accommodation opportunities in the lodges of the parks or in the campsites of the villages have been analyzed, underlying the need to improve sanitary standards. Some local transport operators and some Italian operators working in the field of sustainable tourism have been involved to organize some experimental journeys. |
