Store Mosse in the highlands of Småland is the largest Swedish marsh complex south of Lapland. It extends over an area of nearly 10,000 hectares, and forms a landscape that has retained its pristine character. It is also the site of Lake Kävsjön, one of the best-known bird habitats in Sweden.
