Vadvetjåkka (Vádvecohkka), the northernmost national park in Sweden, is located in a little corner of a remote and desolate mountain region north-west of Lake Torneträsk. Apart from the local Saami population, the park is normally visited only by the occasional mountain wanderer who wishes to experience the profound solitude, the rich plant life, or the network of deep caves.
