Guest House La Fonte is located in the enchanting village of Frassineta at 880 metres above sea level inside the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests Monte Falterona and Campigna, which has been declared a Unesco heritage site.
The village is an authentic, still unspoilt corner of paradise located in the centre of the Vallesanta valley, halfway between Camaldoli and Chiusi della Verna, not far from Badia Prataglia.

Far from the frenetic rhythms of large urban centres, immersed in an enchanting nature rich in age-old forests and wildlife, Frassineta has been, since the year 1000, an important stop on the Via Romea, the most popular communication road between northern Europe and Rome, and on the Way of St. Francis, travelled by numerous pilgrims.

Guest House La Fonte gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in an oasis of peace and connect with the beauty of regenerating nature. It is an excellent starting point for numerous excursions on foot or by bicycle.

In every season, Her Majesty Nature paints marvellous canvases that offer visitors unique landscapes: cool summer, September time of mushrooms chestnuts and roaring, winter snow spring rebirth.

The stone flat, on two levels, is cosy and well cared for. It consists of two bedrooms 1 with a double bed and 1 with a French bed, a windowed bathroom with bathtub and bidet, a living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, dishwasher and electric oven.

In order to facilitate the connection with oneself and the surrounding nature, we do not offer WI-FI service.
