Parco Archeologico Storico Naturale delle Chiese Rupestri del Materano

The book consists of three parts: the first, after a short description of the Park territory, provides some information on the climate, the phyto-historical features, descriptions of the various vegetable environments, and a reconstruction of the history of the botanical explorations. The second part describes some episodes regarding vegetable presences with strong local features. The third part focuses on the floristic iconography, with some ethno-botanical notes.
The plants included in this publication have been chosen trying to highlight rare species or species of great scientific interest, without neglecting the common species, from the most humble to the most showy ones.
