In Doccia, near Fiumalbo, there are about twenty-five rural stone buildings that have special steps facades covered and protected by sandstone slabs. The ancient origin and the particular structure allow to trace them back to Celtic culture, as a testimony to the architecture and history of the ancient inhabitants of the mountains of the Frignano, with their customs and tradiions. The Celtic one was the first complex civilization in Europe: the rural buildings of Doccia date back to the invasions of the Celts of the 4th century BC.
