The route winds through the Rio Acquanegra Valley, also outside the Park's borders, mainly in wooded areas. It crosses the territory of the municipalities of Casnate con Bernate and Fino Mornasco (a short stretch also in the municipality of Senna Comasco). It is an itinerary of scenic and naturalist interest.
